LTE FDD/TDD
|
Azcom Technology has gained sound experience on LTE standard, by collaborating in the development of a LTE multi-UE simulator and by actively contributing to integration and verification phase for OEM LTE basestations.
The multi-UE LTE simulator is designed to run on high-performance DSP and includes a full PHY layer plus MAC/RLC.
The PHY layer includes the following components: |
- Uplink PHY, dedicated to UL physical channels processing
- reference signals generation
- scrambling and modulation
- resource elements mapping
- SC-FDMA signal generation
- Downlink PHY, dedicated to DL physical channels processing
- OFDM symbol processing.
- de-scrambling and de-modulation
- spatial processing (diversity, beam forming, MIMO)
- resource elements de-mapping (de-multiplexing)
- control info from e-Node-B MAC and for UE MAC extraction
- Codec, dedicated to transport channel processing
- error protection (CRC)
- channel encoding/decoding
- rate matching/de-rate matching
- channel interleaving/de-interleaving
The MAC/RLC layer covers the following functionalities: |
- Transfer of upper layer traffic
- Mapping between logical channels and transport channels
- Logical Channel prioritisation
- Error correction through HARQ
- Radio resource allocation according to scheduling from eNodeB
- Random Access procedure
