Small Cell Pico/NIB

Azcom Technology provides a flexible Small Cell LTE eNodeB and HSPA+ NodeB. This includes compact Baseband and RF Hardware platform along with 3GPP Rel.9 compliant LTE and HSPA+ software.

The Physical layer and L2/L3 stack software is fully integrated with the Small Cell Platform and end-to-end tested with commercial HSPA+ and LTE UEs. LTE supports both FDD and TDD modes.

All major functional blocks forming this solution are also available separately. LTE PHY and HSPA+ software support Small Cell Forum APIs, permitting easy integration with other vendors’ higher layer software.

The compact platform comes with a mechanical enclosure suitable for outdoor use and requires no active cooling.

Compact and Flexible Design

The hardware platform is based on Texas Instruments TMS320TCI6630K2L device (with integrated DFE) and AFE7500 RF Transceiver. Wi-Fi is available as an optional feature.

To support a standalone network scenario (Network-In-a-Box), a pluggable, COM Express Mini modulefrom Intel is used to run the optimized Azcom Evolved Packet Core (EPC) software.

All 3GPP frequency bands and LTE bandwidths are supported.
